Aren’t People Great?
With just a few short weeks until we hit the road, I’m feeling more than a little giddy. There’s a hint of promise in the air and an impending lightness of being that makes me blurt my plans to anyone who will listen. That’s how I ended up talking with Dot Kesling, proprietress of the Luxe Wagon.
The Luxe Wagon is a “boutique on the go” built in an old potato chip delivery truck. I stepped in on a whim and was poking around when Dot asked if I was looking for anything in particular. Keenly aware of my reduced closet circumstances, I had to admit that I was not. We got to talking and it turns out she is a kindred spirit, having spent considerable time in a 27’ vehicle.
Isn’t that one of the best things about traveling? Random opportunities to share passions and moments of intimacy with strangers are too rare in daily life. My encounter with Dot reminded me of how great people can be. Thanks Dot!
Shop: The Luxe Wagon has a beautifully curated collection of goodies, but with space limitations in mind I was ready to walk away empty handed—until Dot showed me these tees by good hYOUman. Check out their goods and don’t skip the “about” page.
